35th Annual Wooden Boat Festival
September 9-11, 2011
About the festival: Port Townsend's Wooden Boat Festival is the most education-packed and beautifully located wooden boat event in the world. Featuring more than 300 wooden vessels, hundreds of indoor and outdoor presentations and demonstrations, a who's who of wooden boat experts and thousands of wooden boat enthusiasts, there's something to do, someone to meet or a boat to board at every turn. Expanded a little each year, the festival honors its traditions while inviting energetic debate about the latest innovation. Check out the news below or our WBF Facebook page for the most recent 2011 info, the current list of Festival Boats. Take a look at the Schedule of Presenters, music, kids' activities and sailing opportunities. This year's Interactive printed Program is available online the week before the event and is an insert in the August 31 issue of the Port Townsend & Jeffco Leader newspaper.
One-Day Tickets: $15 or $10 for senior over 65 and teens.
Multi-Day (Fri-Sun) Tickets: are $30 or $20 for seniors and teens.
Includes access to all Festival boats, all daytime presentations and demonstrations, exhibitors, music performance, kids' activities and food vendors is included in the price. More than "admission fee", this is a donation to our programs year round!
